i started with this old sketch of a tank.

then i did a very basic model to get the basic perspective using the free maya personal learning edition.

i imported a screenshot of that into photoshop and started drawing and painting.

here’s the finished piece.

ideas for my next short film

it’s been a while since i did any writing or filmmaking related activities because i’ve been so busy drawing, but i’m ready to start planning my 5th short film.

i had 3 ideas:

1 – about a couple, but i think i’m going to do that one later.
2 – an old idea i had about a psychic girl.
3 – an absurd one about dating.

i pitched them to my writers group and i got some good feedback. i’m going to flesh out the ideas for 2 and 3 and pitch them again. i hope to have at least a rough draft of the script in january, and a finished script in february.
