i’ve been reading on forums and such that Big Bang Theory is a good show to spec, but i like the new show Better Off Ted. i know it just premiered last month, but i’m hoping they come back next season.
i like the single camera format, the quirky music, and the fake veridian commercials. i think the characters and the setup have potential for a lot of funny stories.
i’m also curious to see the premiere of Parks and Recreation tonight.
besides those, i guess i could try a spec of an animated show.
There’s something definitely appealing about Better Off Ted, but almost no one is watching it, so I can’t help but wonder about the benefit of writing a spec for it. Of course, at this very moment I am outlining my own spec for it, so who knows. Good luck!
